NUCLEAR VIRTUAL REALITY SOLUTION

Prioritize safety in training with GE Hitachi's nuclear Virtual Reality Solution (VRS), an immersive virtual reality platofrm that enables plant personnel to gain occupational proficiency in the operation and maintenance of nuclear power plants.

By simulating training events that are not able to be replicated in a classroom, physical mockup or working plant environment, the VRS offers a modernized training experience that can improve training efficiency, reduce operational costs, and provide an interactive look into the engineering, operation and maintenance considerations of new reactor technologies.

Immersive and Interactive

The Nuclear VRS technology also provides an immersive and interactive look at the BWRX-300, GEH's innovative small modular reactor. GEH is working to deploy a VR immersive room at its Canadian SMR headquarters in Ontario to enable stakeholders and others to see this technology up close through walkable simulations of plant design incuding the refuel floor and drywell.
